Duluth Parks Master Plan
Sizemore Group was commissioned by the Aerotropolis CIDs and Aerotropolis Alliance to lead planning and design services for the AeroATL Greenway Plan, a comprehensive trail master plan connecting the Aerotropolis communities. This effort included coordination and design with 9 partners, including the CIDs, Alliance, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Clayton County, Fulton County, and the cities of College Park, East Point, Forest Park, South Fulton, and Hapeville. The resulting master plan includes over 350 miles of multi-purpose trails connecting neighborhoods to parks, natural resources – including the Flint River, jobs, downtowns, public transit, and, most uniquely, the airport. This robust system leverages area assets and amenities to improve livability and drive economic investment on the south side of Atlanta. With a strong focus on consensus building throughout this process, all 9 partners have adopted/approved the AeroATL Greenway Plan and are working together towards implementation.
