The Envision Marietta Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Master Plan aimed to capitalize on the success of Downtown Marietta to encourage growth and vitality along major entry-way corridors, including Roswell Street, North Marietta Parkway and South Marietta Parkway. The plan recommends focusing on strengthening multi-modal access along these major corridors and ensuring new development provides compatible uses to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Walk to the Marietta Square and take a stroll through the shops and along the history trail. Rent a bike and follow protected bike paths to the Cobb County Civic Center, where you can enjoy an afternoon performance with your family. Meet up with friends for dinner at one of the new local restaurants, and a gallery opening at the Roswell District. End the day catching up with old friends over a beer at the Education District’s local beer garden.
