Medical College of Georgia / UGA

Project Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Project Scope: 38,460 sf $7.8 million

Dates of Services: 2008 – 2009

Comprehensive renovation of a 38,460 sf historic facility located on the edge of the Oconee River. This old mill was restored to accommodate the Medical College of Georgia’s Educational Initiative at the University of Georgia. It houses classrooms, labs, offices and student support functions.

Project was delivered using Design/Build method.

Areas involved in the renovation included the Mezzanine and Concession Areas, and the existing exit stairs at the Egyptian Ballroom level to meet fire code requirements.
