Architect – 5-10 years
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Participate in all project phases, with a primary focus on design development, construction documents and construction administration.
-
Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
-
Produce BIM models and construction drawings
-
Resolve challenging technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions
-
Actively lead smaller projects or co-lead a team on larger projects for successful delivery
-
Co-manage client expectations, team communication and oversight of consultant coordination
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school
-
Registered architect
-
5-10 years of commercial experience in the profession of architectural design. Experience in Higher Education, Civic, and Religious a plus.
-
Working knowledge of building codes, standards and accessibility requirements
-
Experience with Division of State Architect, Office of State Fire Marshal preferred
-
High proficiency in Revit
-
Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Excel, PowerPoint
-
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
-
A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
-
Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious
-
LEED AP or within 6 months of hire

Designer / Interior Designer – 1-5 years experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provide support throughout the design process, design plans, construction contract documents, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, ergonomic dimensions, finish plans, color plans, cost analysis, engineering systems coordination, document checking, schematic and Design Development design and schedules.

Prepare programming and space planning to assess client and project needs under supervision
-
Have a passion for developing design presentation materials, including renderings
-
Prepare construction documents using Revit
-
Attend client/project meetings
-
Work alongside and understand the functional organization of the project team
-
Keep organized and check your work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility
-
Utilize your rock star technical skills in Revit and other design application software
-
Work hard, play hard, and learn a lot along the way!
QUALIFICATIONS

A professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline, Master’s Degree a plus
-
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, graphic design, and 3D modeling and visualization software
-
Effective verbal and written communication/story telling skills
-
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
-
Ability to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
-
Desire to work on Higher Education, Civic and Religious Facilities Projects
-
LEED AP or within 6 months of hire

Interest in completing your ARE or NCIDQ exams
