A New Office In North Carolina

A New Office In North CarolinaThis year, Sizemore Group celebrates 45 years of creating culturally-significant spaces and planning beautiful, inspiring places. As we reach this milestone, Sizemore Group will open an office in the greater Asheville area to continue serving clients throughout the Southeast.
Tom Sayre, who has been with Sizemore Group for 40 years, has moved to Sylva, NC, to open the firm’s new location in a heavy timber office. Tom is a leading voice in sustainable design practice with significant expertise in schools and libraries. His passion drives the integration of sustainable design across all market sectors, particularly those leading North Carolina’s economy.

Higher education and sustainability are hallmarks of the western North Carolina region, making it a strategic fit for Sizemore Group.

The state ranks one of the highest in the nation for green building certification and is home to nearly 200 colleges or trade schools. Sizemore Group’s rich history working with schools, colleges and universities has taught us that renovating existing structures may yield higher, more comprehensive returns than starting from scratch.

Asheville is known for its signature adapted and reused architecture. The city’s popular downtown is filled with vibrant new businesses within repurposed old buildings. Sizemore Group emphasizes breathing new life into abandoned and forgotten buildings, turning them into beautiful, functional spaces that strengthen communities and economies.

Our North Carolina office will open in late Spring. We look forward to serving more clients throughout the region. To learn more about working with our team, please contact our new office at 2200 Locust Creek Road, Sylva, GA 30313 | 404.605.0690 ext. 125 | toms@sizemoregroup.com.
